International Winter University Program in Germany

Join students from around the world for an unforgettable three-week academic and cultural experience at the Hessen International Winter University Program (Hessen:IWU), hosted by Hochschule Darmstadt – University of Applied Sciences.

The Winter University Program 2026 will run from December 28, 2025 - January 17, 2026, with a few virtual sessions scheduled in early December 2025 to help you get started and connect with fellow participants.

You can choose between two exciting academic courses:

• Business: International Marketing and Sales
• Engineering: Energy Lifestyles - A Technical Comparison Between Nations

Each course is complemented by a German language course and a rich program of cultural and social activities designed to help you experience life in Germany and connect with a global student community.

One highlight of the program will be a 2-day excursion to Munich and Neuschwanstein Castle.
